MetLife Stadium

MetLife Stadium is located in the Meadowlands Sports Complex, about 8 miles west of Midtown Manhattan. The nearest airports are Newark Liberty International (EWR, 10 miles), JFK International (JFK, 25 miles), and LaGuardia (LGA, 15 miles). NJ Transit operates dedicated Meadowlands Rail Line service from Secaucus Junction on game days, connecting to Penn Station in Manhattan. NJ Transit bus route 160 also serves the stadium from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. On-site parking is extensive but expensive; rideshare drop-off/pick-up zones are designated along the perimeter roads of the complex.

Hoboken, just across the Hudson River, offers a vibrant waterfront bar and restaurant scene along Washington Street and is a quick PATH train ride from Manhattan. Times Square and Midtown Manhattan provide endless dining, nightlife, and hotel options, with easy NJ Transit access to the stadium. For a more local experience, the Ironbound District in Newark features outstanding Portuguese and Brazilian restaurants along Ferry Street, close to Newark Penn Station.

MetLife Stadium enforces a strict clear bag policy. Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Small clutch purses (approximately 4.5" x 6.5") are permitted and do not need to be clear. One-gallon clear freezer bags are also allowed. Prohibited items include backpacks, purses, fanny packs, camera bags, and any tinted or non-transparent bags. Exceptions are made for medically necessary items and diaper bags, which are subject to inspection at the gate.
