GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium is located in the Truman Sports Complex in eastern Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is about 22 miles northwest. Kansas City does not have a rail transit system, though the KC Streetcar operates in the downtown corridor and an extension toward the stadium area has been under development. RideKC bus service offers event-day express routes from downtown and various park-and-ride locations. The stadium has enormous surface parking lots in the Truman Sports Complex, with tailgating as a major pre-game tradition. Rideshare drop-off zones are at Gate 1 and Gate 5 along Red Coat Lane.

The Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City (about 15 minutes west) is the main entertainment hub with sports bars, restaurants, live music venues, and clubs spanning several walkable blocks. The Country Club Plaza (about 20 minutes southwest) offers a beautiful Spanish-inspired outdoor shopping and dining district with fountains, upscale restaurants, and boutique hotels. The Crossroads Arts District, between downtown and the Plaza, is Kansas City's creative center with galleries, gastropubs, and the renowned craft BBQ scene along Southwest Boulevard.

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium enforces the NFL clear bag policy. Permitted bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" and one-gallon clear freezer bags. Small clutch purses (4.5" x 6.5" or smaller) are allowed regardless of transparency. All other bags, including backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, and mesh bags, are prohibited. Exceptions are made for medically necessary items with proper inspection. The Truman Sports Complex does not offer on-site bag check, so non-compliant bags must be returned to your vehicle.
