Gillette Stadium

Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, Massachusetts, about 30 miles southwest of downtown Boston. Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is the nearest major airport. The MBTA commuter rail's Foxboro Line runs special event-day trains from South Station and Back Bay in Boston directly to Foxboro station, adjacent to the stadium. Regular service is also available on the Franklin/Foxboro Line. There is no regular bus or subway service to the stadium. Parking is plentiful in the expansive lots at Patriot Place, but traffic on Route 1 can be severe; arrive early. Rideshare drop-off/pick-up is at designated areas in Lot 15.

Patriot Place, the retail and entertainment complex adjacent to Gillette Stadium, features restaurants, bars, a movie theater, and the Patriots Hall of Fame. Downtown Boston (about 40 minutes by train) offers world-class dining in the North End (Boston's Little Italy), vibrant nightlife along the Faneuil Hall and Seaport waterfront districts, and historic hotels. Providence, Rhode Island (about 25 minutes south) is an underrated alternative with a lively food scene on Federal Hill and affordable hotel options near the downtown Amtrak station.

Gillette Stadium enforces an NFL-standard clear bag policy. Only clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed, in addition to one-gallon clear freezer bags. A small clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5" maximum) does not need to be clear. Backpacks, non-clear tote bags, camera bags, and coolers are strictly prohibited. Medically necessary items are permitted after inspection at designated ADA entry points. Seat cushions are allowed only if they are single-piece without pockets, zippers, or compartments.
